Treasures Abound in Melk, Austria

We dock in Melk, Austria, and I swear I’ve never seen any place so, well, green, so picturesque, so . . . lush.  We’re on our way to tour the old Benedictine monastery, the Melk Abbey, which, from the looks of it, is like a mini Vatican. (Okay, not really, but it’s impressive–over 900 years old.)  I can’t decide if the treasures reside in the Abbey or at the bottom of the hill, on this old bridge.

Three of the four kids.  And rivers and trees and sky–Oh my!

I love this girl dressed in yellow!  And this little boy running so fast in his cool Puma shoes.

And this girl, dressed in blue!

Ohhh!  Shoes the colors of popsicles.  Do they come six to a box?

 Hot day . . . yummy H2o.
