Sometimes, when you’re seventeen and you love the ocean, you want to go down to the water early in the morning, before the sun rises.
Because you want to watch the event from the shore.
Which is where the real drama is.
And when you’re seventeen and you’re trying to explore the difference between good drama (a new day) and bad drama (the self-serving emotionalism common to kids your age), you need a proper venue.
After all, being in the right place at the right time can make all the difference.
When seahorse clouds appear on the horizon, you’re there to witness it.
And when day breaks, you can center yourself in the light. And the light can center itself in you.
So that, everywhere you turn, you see it.
Which puts you at the very heart of the moment you intended to witness.
Yes, this is good drama.
I love this! What a poet you are, Becky!
Okay Miss Courtney, the poet thing–maybe, in another life. But it takes one to know one. Besitos!
:’-)
I know. Me too.
You and Aaron made an exquisite creature Bex! Good drama indeed 🙂
She came this way! XX
Also…these photos are amazing!
Yeah, the camera likes this girl a little. But I think the one in front of the camera also has to have a sense of the narrative, if you know what I mean. We miss you. XX
